M179 - Hakata New Life Church Equipment

Hakata New Life Church began in 1991 as a prayer meeting in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka, which soon became a weekly meeting, and in February of 1996 became affiliated with the Assemblies of God Japan. They moved into our own building in Hakata in March 2002.

Hakata New Life Church is an international, inner city church, with all services held in Japanese and English. They are a family church with a strong focus on outreach, and their current pastors Alastair & Marlene Paterson have a heart to see the national church of Japan grow and connect in a meaningful way with the younger generations.Throughout the week members of our church are actively engaging with our local community, so if you are new to church there are many ways that you can develop meaningful relationships with others and grow in your relationship with God!

Currently Hakata New Life Church is looking to facilitate their ministry in Japan by empowering our church to reach all demographics of Japanese society, and particularly the younger generation, by providing a fun and modern church experience. To do this they are currently raising funds for church equipment to assist them with this vision.

The primary objective of the project is to facilitate our ministry in Japan by empowering the national church to reach all demographics of Japanese society, and particularly the younger generation. This project focuses on the purchase of specific church equipment to facilitate (a) the training of nationals and raising up of leaders, (b) more effective outreach and connection with our local community, (c) a more contemporary expression of worship, (d) secure sharing and storage of information and files, and (e) modernised church services. An itemised breakdown of church equipment included in this project is available on request.
